Dr. Daniel Lozano - M.D. MBA - Medical Director of Lehigh Valley Regional Burn Center.
Dan joined the Exciton board September, 2011 and is a member of the governance committee. A Summa Cum Laude graduate from Whittier College, a medical degree from University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, a Burn Fellowship at University of California San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center, a Director of Burn Care at UCSD, Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at UCSD Burn Center, board certified by the America College of Surgeons are but a few of his accomplishments prior to his 2004 recruitment Lehigh Valley Burn Center, a regional burn referral center for 100 Pennsylvania institutions . Dr. Lozano and associates treat 400 adult and pediatric burn patients annually. As one of three surgeons in this diagnostic clinic they also provide audio-video burn consultations to hospitals and clinics across the USA. Dan has extensive experience with most competitor product offerings, has joined the board to help Exciton optimize and enhance its unique burn and wound care dressings, and to communicate and demonstrate cost effectiveness of Exsalt wound care products.
