Mr. Don Berry - BA -Executive Vice President of Medical Mart
Don joined the board September, 2011 and is a member of the governance committee. He is a partner and the Western Canada operations leadership for Medical Mart, a Canada wide medical device distributor with annual sales of $220 million, and 50 direct sales representatives operating from four Canadian warehouses. Medical Mart became a preferred distributor of Exciton wound care products in September, 2011 and is an acute wound care products provider to Alberta Health Services. Medical Mart is a Canadian owned member of a major USA specialty hospital distributor buying group located in Nashville, Tennessee. Don graduated from York University, Toronto, has post graduate course studies at UBC and Humber College and brings the Exciton board 30 years of medical distribution experience in all Canadian market segments. Don has served on the Alberta Heritage Foundation Medical Research committee, and was vice chair of Health Opportunities Edmonton and brings unique Canadian medical device experience to Exciton.
