Mr. John Suk – BSc. ICD.D - President, Xigera Inc.
John joined the board of Exciton in September, 2011 and retired as CEO of Nycomed Canada, Inc. in 2011. John owns Xigera, Inc. - a business consultancy, and was elected vice chair of Exciton, chairs the audit committee, and is a member of the governance committee. Nycomed is active in the therapeutic areas of gastroenterology, respirology, allergy and supportive oncology care. Nycomed Canada, is one of Canada’s leading research based pharmaceutical companies, and was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers from 12,500 invitees that provide exceptional workplaces for employees. Annual Nycomed sales in Canada approximate $350 million, and it employs 130. John has completed graduate course work at the University of Toronto, Columbia U, Harvard, INSEAD and is an Honours Science graduate and active director of Brock University. After fifteen years leadership at Nycomed, the business was sold to an international conglomerate and John is a consulting director in the health care industry.
