Mr. Kenneth Burton, BA, B.Comm. - President, Keno Inc.
Ken joined the board in 2009, is a member of the governance committee and is currently the largest Exciton shareholder through his investment company Keno, Inc. Ken is a political science and business graduate at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. An innovator, Ken founded, built and sold Burton, Sladden, Spencer, a major western Canadian insurance agency. In 1986 he co-founded a group of insurance agencies active in western Canada- Beveridge Insurance, J Folk insurance. In 1990 National Home Warranty was co- founded by Ken and was grown to become Canada’s largest, independently owned new home warranty provider. National Home Warranty Group and the insurance agencies were sold to Aviva in July, 2008. Ken is actively invested in Edmonton area enterprise and is an Aviva director in Canada.
