Ron Lala - Vice President Sales
Ron has been in the Medical Industry for over 30 years since his start with a division of Baxter Travenol. He has held district, regional, and national sales management positions with Medtronic, Intertech Resources, Ball Medical, Summit Technology and Westaim Biomedical. As North American Director of Sales, he launched Acticoat, the first silver antimicrobial dressing into the U.S. and Canadian marketplace. He hired, trained, and supervised a specialty burn and wound sales force that made Acticoat the dominant silver dressing in the burn market within 3 years. Once the product was acquired by Smith and Nephew, he consulted for them while they transitioned the Westaim sales team over to Smith & Nephew. He has consulted for numerous companies in the burn and wound arena and has over 10 years experience in that specialty marketplace. He was also one of the founders of the Journal of Burn Care.
