Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin & Wound Care (National Harbor, MD - September 9 – 12, 2011)

Exciton Technologies is planning to attend the Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin & Wound Care on September 9-12, 2011. This is the 26th Annual Clinical Symposium on Advances on Skin & Wound Care. The meeting will be held at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. The conference will meet the continuing-education needs of multidisciplinary skin and wound care practitioners, from novice to expert, by providing a forum for educational sessions and interactive workshops that offer comprehensive wound management strategies.

Exciton Technologies Inc. strengthens its patent position with a newly issued US patent 7,998,504. This patent protects Exciton’s silver oxysalt technology in combination with any medical device. Silver oxysalts are in the valence state of +1, +2 and +3 and create proven antimicrobial action while using less silver to provide a very efficacious cost effective coating. Silver oxysalts are currently on the market in the exsalt SD7 wound dressing.
